He missed the 1995 World Cup due to broken hand and suffered a pinched nerve and rotator cuff tear in right shoulder and underwent surgery in September 1993. Sheer determination, will-power and relentless hard work brought him back from what normally would have been career-ending injuries. Chris received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Cal Berkeley in 1994. He relaxes from water polo by playing the guitar and plans on "giving back" to the sport by coaching and teaching after the Olympics. Quick Facts
