Terry Wong
Team Manager

Terry Wong has been the Team Manager of the US Mens Water Polo team since 1992. At the 1996 Olympics, he will serve as team leader. In addition to these duties, Wong is also the media relations liaison for the US National Team.

Wong was team leader of the National Junior Team from 1986 to 1992. He is president of the Harvard (Los Angeles) Water Polo Foundation and was Treasurer of USWP from 1986 to 1988. He has been vice-chairman of the Southern Pacific Water Polo Association since 1982.

Since 1967 Wong has worked for the State of California's Department of Transportation. He has worked in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems, New Technology Applications since 1989. He earned his bachelor of science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.

Wong lives in Agora Hills, CA with his wife Randal, a graphic designer. Randal designed the current USWP logo and water polo Junior Olympics logo. Their son Marc was the 1980 Southern Section CIF 2A Water Polo "Player of the Year" and 1984 Long Beach City College "Player of the Year." Wong was born September 3, 1943 in Long Beach, CA.
